Recently with the dry weather and heavy rain spells the soil against their home began to shrink and then rapidly expand. What started as a small crack leading away from their back door quickly became uneven concrete. This was an area they used often to entertain guests and family members alike. The procedure took about one-half day and they were able to use the patio again after just 15 minutes. The clean and well dressed foremen left the family with a written warranty and the concrete was permanently stabilized.
This customer has a home constructed in the 1920's. With many older homes, they have a concrete foundation with Clay Block around the crawl space stem wall. This customer was experiencing groundwater seepage during heavy rains and caused damage to his almost ready Man-Cave. To help with this, the Vesta team will be installing a Waterguard Drainage System and Sani-Dry. This will help ensure their home is permanently free of musty odors and groundwater seepage.
Installation for this project will take about 3 days from start to finish. The home will be ready for a finished areas about 24 hours after installation. While the homeowner is away and out of town, they will have protection from power outage by using a battery backup pump system.
